1. Overview
Quipu AI Accounting is a subscription-based SaaS platform. Since it is a digital service and not a physical product, traditional "returns" do not apply. This policy covers subscription cancellations and refund eligibility.
2. Subscription Cancellation
2.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
- Your account settings under the Subscription section
- Contacting our support team at aiaccounting@quipu.in
2.2 What Happens After Cancellation
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.
- You retain full access to all features until the subscription expires.
- After expiry, your account enters a read-only state for 90 days - you can view and export data but cannot create new entries.
- After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted.
3. Refund Policy

3.2 Not Eligible for Refund
- Failure to use the Service during your subscription period
- Account suspension due to violation of our Terms of Service
- Dissatisfaction with features that were clearly described on our website
- Changes in your business circumstances (e.g., business closure, change in accounting software preference)
4. How to Request a Refund
- Email aiaccounting@quipu.in with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include your registered mobile number, company name, and reason for the refund.
- Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days.
5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.
- Refunds are credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Bank processing times may add an additional 3-5 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.
- Refunds for UPI payments are typically faster (1-3 business days).
6. Plan Changes & Credits
If you upgrade your plan mid-cycle, the remaining value of your current plan is applied as a credit towards the new plan. No cash refunds are issued for plan upgrades - the prorated credit is applied automatically.
7. Disputes
If you are unsatisfied with a refund decision, you may:
- Reply to the refund response email requesting escalation to a senior team member.
- Escalated requests are reviewed within 5 business days.
- If still unresolved, disputes are handled per the Dispute Resolution clause in our Terms of Service.
